Ivar Siimar

Ivar is the father of the angel movement in the Baltics. He has a long track record of supporting founders early on in their journeys as an angel and now as a venture capitalist. As a Partner at Trind, he is looking at a multitude of industries.

Prior to becoming a founding partner at Trind, he was one of the co-founders of the Estonian Business Angel Association, fueling the growth of the angel movement in Estonia since 2012 and developing the ecosystem.

Ivar is actively covering the Estonian market, yet he has a broad international network. He’s looking for experienced and passionate teams, who have the drive and necessary background to build global companies.

Ivar is also an active mentor at various industry events. You find him at multiple industry events across the Baltics and Nordics, often wearing a cool baseball cap!
